From 1 April 2023, Anette Hansen Kausland was appointed as General Manager of Blue Analytics. She comes from the position as Quality Manager in the same company.
Anette joined Blue Analytics two years ago with responsibility for building and operating the company’s quality systems. During this period, she has worked purposefully to put in place accreditation of PCR analyses and achieve status as a designated laboratory for government-mandated screening programmes.

Education and experience
Anette has a master’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Bergen, as well as post-graduate training in business analysis at Western Norway University College. She has 18 years of experience from molecular biology laboratories, from NIFES, the Institute of Marine Research and the Michael Sars Centre (UIB).
She has also been Operational Manager and General Manager of Biomega Norway, which refines fish raw materials from the aquaculture industry, for two years.
